Seriously, USA Today?

The following was taken from a "winter" photograph submission deal at USA Today.
"This photo was taken from the second floor of my home in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico," says Guillermo Paxton, the photographer. "Even with all the violence and murder here, snow still paints a different picture."

Paxton makes the quite valid observation that Mexico, as part of North America, qualifies as America, and sent in this photo. Perhaps this will pry loose some winter photographs from our Canadian neighbors as well.
Sorry, Argentina. Also good to know that violence only happens in hot places. The best of the 19th century, brought to you today by USA Today.
